Finally, a white light that doesn't keep me awake or hurt my eyes at night. The color in my living room is still perfect."

Most LEDs produce white light with a sharp spike at 450nm, the wavelength that registers as visually harsh. CleanWhite® shifts that peak to 405nm, at the violet edge of the visible spectrum. The result is the same full-spectrum white light, without the harshness.

Most LEDs were built for efficiency. Not experience.
Modern LED bulbs are engineered around a phosphor-conversion process that produces a concentrated spike in light output in the blue region of the visible spectrum — typically between 440–460nm. This spike is a byproduct of how standard LEDs generate white light, not a deliberate design choice.
The intensity and placement of that spike is the problem. It’s why a 5000K LED can feel clinical and uncomfortable in a way that natural daylight at the same color temperature does not.
Not all blue light is the same.
The visible spectrum runs from roughly 380nm at the violet edge to 700nm at the deep red end. Blue light occupies the 400–500nm range — and within that range, wavelength and intensity both matter.
Natural light distributes energy gradually across the spectrum without a single unnaturally dominant concentration. Standard LEDs concentrate output in the 440–460nm range because it drives efficient phosphor excitation — the mechanism that produces white light.
Spectral Re-engineering
A smarter spike. In the right place.
CleanWhite® technology re-engineers the spectral peak away from the 440–460nm range to approximately 405nm — shifting it to the violet boundary of visible light, where short-wavelength intensity is lower and visual impact is reduced.
Most alternative approaches reduce blue-range output by filtering or limiting it — forcing the light toward amber and orange tones. CleanWhite® doesn't filter. It re-engineers. The peak is moved, not removed.
